Chess Camps

July 15-19, 2019

CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort

7400 International Drive, Orlando, FL

Enrollment has started

Planning the summer, chess families often need to choose: Is it going to be a chess camp OR a vacation? How about ... both - In the same time! We put some extra work into our planning and we made it possible.

We have been in chess long enough, we know our students, we talk to the parents, and we know the challenges of the summer. Summer is the big tournament time. It's also the big chess-study time. But also time to recharge and relax.

So how about that: Check-in in a Water Park Resort on International Dr. in Orlando. Nice and quiet rooms, but step outside, and you are in the middle of one of the best tourist areas in the world! Every day 10 am-4 pm the kids enjoy chess camp activities, including learning and playing, with daily blitz events. From 4 pm and the rest of the evenings is family time. Universal is only a short shuttle ride away, The Orlando Eye, museums, restaurants, mini golf and shopping is all just down the street.

More about the camp. Learning is best in small groups: no more than 8-12 participants in each group.

We welcome all levels of chess kids, Advanced Beginners, Soon to be Experts and Soon to be Masters. Send us a note if you are not sure which group to register for, we will be glad to assist with more info.

International Drive is in high-demand during the summer and we are extremely lucky to be able to have the CoCo Key hotel as a venue for our camp

Group rooms are blocked for us in the quiet key-card accessed Hotel Tower with interior corridor and elevator, situated in the same areas as each other, and in the same building as chess camp meeting rooms. Nice and spacious 2 Queen Bed bedrooms can comfortably accommodate a family of 3 or 4.

Each room comes with up to 4 water park passes a day.

CoCo Key Resort is right in the middle of Orlando Tourist area, walking distance to attractions, restaurants and shopping, trolley distance to Orlando Eye area, and short shuttle distance to Universal.

Booking Deadline: The downside of this incredible deal is the early booking deadline. Un-used group rooms will be redrawn from our group reservation by CoCo Key hotel management on March 15th. This is the hotel policy, and we will not be able to help you with late registration.

Early arrival is possible. Please use the Hotel link to view accommodation details.

Please register as early as possible to secure your room!
